IRON RIDERS MC, (NY) INC. P.O. BOX 594 HIGHLAND, NEW YORK 12528 Presidents letter 7-22-09 Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. I know that it has been quite some time since I updated this page, but I can assure you that we have not let things get in the way of our mission to help sick children and their families in times of need. I always enjoy hearing from our Brothers and Sisters in the M/C world. Some of the most caring and loving people are on two wheels. Some of my most memorable comments are from the attendees at our annual event. Our guests are very happy to see that all of the money raised through the extreme efforts of our members goes to the Family Of The Day. With our family attending the event, everyone has a chance to meet our child and understand the medical challenges that lies ahead for them. This is usually when the tears begin to flow, and the waves generosity just come crashing in. This year we are lending a hand to Lauren. A beautiful 13 year old that is suffering with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. As Lauren gets older, her needs become greater. Our mission this year is to raise enough money to build a ramp on her home. At the present time Lauren needs to be carried up the stairs into her home. This has caused many of her aids and caretakers, to quit their jobs. With the aid of this ramp, Lauren can be easily transported in her wheelchair, giving her the much needed help with the numerous visits to the doctors. Please join us on July 26, 2009 and help us make this event the biggest success the Iron Riders have ever seen. Everyone is welcome. You don't have to have a motorcycle to attend.
